<p>Spyker is proud to declare that the C8 Aileron’s chassis totally coated with aluminum. It was redesigned to be able to achieve increased torsional rigidity and to install the latest suspension system. These features greatly provide a supreme foundation for ultimate performance on vehicle dynamics. The new Spyker has also maximized its dimensions, creating an optimized interior space to optional gearbox accommodation. If to compare with Spyker C8 Laviolette and C8 Spyder, the C8 Aileron is 150 mm longer, which gives more ease in driving and enhanced stability during high speeds.</p>

<p>In terms of the Spyker C8 Aileron’s power train, it is revved up with the Audi 4.2 liter V8 engine that is capable of releasing a generous amount of 400 bhp and 354 lb-ft torque. The Aileron can hit the speed rate of 62 mph in just 4.5 seconds and has reaches a top speed of 187 mph. Also available are two transmission alternatives. A six-speed Getrag manual gearbox is an optional choice, and the optional transmission is the ZF automatic.</p>
